Lectors
These parishioners proclaim the word of God at Mass, including the first reading, from the Old Testament, the second reading, from the New Testament. The lector also reads the weekly announcements before Mass begins. Lectors sit in
the pews during Mass and come forward to the altar to proclaim the readings.
