Ministries

Altar Servers-trained to serve at the altar by helping the priest celebrate Mass.  Young people can become altar servers anytime after the 3rd grade.

Baptism Preparation-This ministry assists parents who are preparing to have their first child baptized.  Baptism prep meetings take place on the first Sunday of every month, following the 11am Sunday Mass.

Bereavement Ministry- The death of a love one can be one of life's most difficult moments.  Faith, love and support of family and friends can bring comfort, helping those burdened with grief to find hope.  Our parish community is the spiritual home where families gather to grieve, to remember and to pray.  Members may assist at the vigil prayer services and/or planning the funeral service with the family.  We assist in the service by providing support, compassion and prayerful hospitality to family members and mourners. New members always welcome.

Bingo-The biggest single parish fundraiser is held every Friday night at the parish center.  We are in need of people to sell tickets, call back bingo's, be a bingo caller or work in the kitchen.  Anyone interested may call Jan Meier @ 508 951-7054 or stop by the Parish Center anytime after 4:30 on a Friday evening.

Eucharistic Minister-A Eucharistic minister preparatory class will provide details and training for this ministry.

Knights of Columbus-A ministry for Catholic men who are 18 years and older. Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at the Parish Center.

Lectors

Music Ministry- We welcome new members to join the adult choir.  The adult choir holds rehearsals Tuesday's from 7-9pm. Please contact Anna McReynolds, Music Director at 508 285-4049.  We also have the New Life Choir.  This choir sings at funerals.  For more information please contact Maureen Kelly at 508 285-7929.

St Vincent de Paul Society-helps those in need in the Norton Community.  Food Pantry located in the parish center available on an as needed basis. New members always welcome.
